Mission (Ka Huakaʻi)
As an SBA Native Hawaiian Organization, our primary goal is to serve and benefit the Native Hawaiian community. We recognize that it is essential to have a detailed plan that outlines how revenue earned by the NHO will principally benefit Native Hawaiians. In this roadmap, we will provide details on how our organization will achieve this goal and how our revenues will be allocated to each goal. Our plan includes teaching Hula via In Kind Service to Hui Iwa Academy, building a Hawaiian cultural program at Hanalani School, donating cybersecurity services to Native Hawaiian companies, and allocating initially 20% of our future profit to Hawaii Community Foundation to manage.
Teaching Hula via In Kind Service to Hui Iwa Academy & Hanalani School:
Hula is a significant aspect of Hawaiian culture, and our organization recognizes the importance of promoting cultural awareness and appreciation of this dance. Our NHO aims to promote and preserve Hawaiian culture by sharing the art of hula with younger generations. To achieve this, our organization provides Hula lessons to students at Hui Iwa Academy and Hanalani School through In-Kind Service. This initiative will benefit Native Hawaiians by promoting cultural awareness and appreciation of the ancient art of Hula, which is an integral part of Hawaiian culture. By sharing our knowledge of hula, we hope to foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of the traditions and customs of the Hawaiian people.

To ensure that Hula classes align with Hui Iwa Academy's and Hanalani’ curriculum as well as standards, we work very closely with the school administration and teachers to develop a comprehensive and authentic Hula program. Our organization covers the costs associated with the Hula lessons, including the teacher's salary, costumes, and music. By providing these lessons through In-Kind Service, our organization will not only promote cultural awareness but will also help Hui Iwa Academy save on costs associated with implementing their Hula program.
Aureana Kamali`ioiwalani Tseu: Cultural Ambassador and Spokesmodel
Our NHO is proud to have Aureana Kamali`ioiwalani Tseu not only Chairman of the Board, but also as our cultural ambassador and spokesmodel. As a former Miss Hawaii USA, Aureana has a unique platform and reach to promote and support Native Hawaiian-owned companies. She donates her time to bring awareness and attention to these companies through social media, interviews, modeling and events. This effort will not only support these businesses but also raise awareness of the importance of supporting Native Hawaiian-owned companies and the value they bring to the community. The NHO allocates funds for necessary resources to facilitate this effort.
Donating Cybersecurity Services to Native Hawaiian Companies:
In today's digital age, cybersecurity has become a significant concern for businesses, and Native Hawaiian companies are no exception. Our organization recognizes the importance of cybersecurity and its impact on the Native Hawaiian community. Therefore, we provide cybersecurity services and education to Native Hawaiian companies free of charge.
Our team of cybersecurity experts work closely with Native Hawaiian companies to identify their cybersecurity needs and provide customized solutions that meet their specific requirements. Our team conducts an initial assessment of the company’s current cybersecurity posture to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks. Based on this assessment, we develop and if asked, implement a comprehensive cybersecurity plan to mitigate these risks and protect the companies' data and networks.

As an SBA Native Hawaiian Organization, we recognize the importance of supporting programs and initiatives that benefit the Native Hawaiian community. Therefore, we will allocate initially 20% of our overall profit to Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF) to manage.

HCF is a nonprofit organization that supports a wide range of programs and initiatives that benefit Native Hawaiians. By donating to HCF, our organization can ensure that our funds are being used to support programs that have a positive impact on the Native Hawaiian community. Our organization will work closely with HCF to identify programs that align with our organization's mission and goals and ensure that our donations are being used effectively.
Our donation to HCF will benefit Native Hawaiians by supporting programs and initiatives that provide tangible benefits to the community. - Established in 2021, Kahi‘olani Foundation is a Native Hawaiian Non-Profit Organization that helps to enrich distressed and underprivileged Native Hawaiian Keiki (Children) through the education and perpetuation of hula. It is through the practice of this the ancient indigenous art that Kahi'olani Foundation hopes to contribute and encourage the well being of these keiki and the well being of their families and communities through physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual Hawaiian curriculum.
